The Gospel In Four Minutes
Whether you’re hearing it for the first time or it’s a reminder for the one thousandth time, hearing the gospel clear and concisely is always a good thing. God’s gift and grace is so wonderful and we should hear about and think about it constantly. In this video Voddie Baucham presents the gospel beautifully and clearly for all to hear.
This article from Tim Challies is a good read and will generate some thought as he gives is 40 random pieces of advice for the Christian life. Lord knows we need all the help we can get.
This gem was one of my favorites:
Be appropriately skeptical about new movements, new terminology, and new methods. If the church has gotten along pretty well without it for the past 2,000 years, it’s unlikely that it’s actually a key to success in the Christian life. This is as true of phenomena in the wider Christian context (e.g. The Prayer of Jabez, Purpose Driven) as in the narrower Reformed subculture (e.g. the terms “missional,” or “gospel-centered”).Tim Challies
Ranchers Rush To Sell Cattle Amid Drought
Pray for rain!!! Even here in Indiana we’ve have felt the drought but when your farm depends on rain whether crops or livestock the impact is devastating. This video shows the impact on livestock farmers and ultimately the future economy and inflation.
Vertical Worship – Yes I Will
Last year I was visiting a great little church and the worship team played this song. I had never heard it before and it quickly became a favorite of mine. The lyrics are powerful and it has a great sound. I thought it was worth sharing. Enjoy!
I was looking at book shelves thinking about a book I wanted to recommend and this one popped out at me. I’ve had it on my shelf for a few years and I occasionally pull it down an browse through it. This seems like a relevant book for today as the future of the economy seems questionable. I believe we should strive to be as self sufficient at possible and this book can help.
